Lightning Rock Sauvignon Blanc Waters and Banks Vineyard 2022
Summerland Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Waters and Banks Vineyard was planted in the early 2000s with Pinot Noir (115, 667), Sauvignon Blanc, and Merlot. This property neighbours the south side of Lightning Rock, and is so close that they say it is barely distinguishable from its Elysia vines. This Summerland sauvignon is fermented wild and then subject to little or no intervention. The attack is crisp and has an obvious mineral, saline character with passionfruit, pears, and lime rind streaks. Drink all summer with oysters or clams.
