Stellenbosch, Coastal Region, South AfricaFor this Reserve tier bottling, Chenin from Helderberg, Bottelary Hills, and Vlaeberg mountain vineyards, and from sandy, ferrous clay soils goes into this chenin, picked in various waves. The lots were barrel and tank fermented and left on the lees for 9 months in French oak (20% new). This has tightened considerably over the years, with white peach, lemon balm, and subtle lime over a gently lees-decked base.
