Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaIt is a bowl of mixed fruit, including strawberries and watermelon, rhubarb and citrus rind, sprinkled with citrus juice and grapefruit pith. Juicy, fresh, and dry, this is very food friendly. The blend is 62/38 pinot noir/gamay. The fruit hails from Sleeping Dog Vineyard on Naramata Bench, and Secrest Mountain Vineyard in Oliver. It gets a 12 hour cold soak, which explains the vibrant, deep pink colour.
