Cavit Bottega Vinai Müller Thurgau 2022

Trentino- Alto-Adige, ItalyThe Vinai Müller Thurgau vineyards sit between 500 and 700 metres above sea level in the Trentino zone on three separate sites. The glacial soils in the Valle di Cavedine and the Dolomite limestone in Cimone give the wine its intense, crisp aromas and minerality. In contrast, the basalt, well-structured soils on the Brentonico Plateau impart a highly persistent, well-balanced palate. Look for a pale colour with an enticing lime, bergamot floral nose and a hint of dried spice. The attack seems rich and lush, even a touch ripe, but it is compelling and complex with a hint of bitterness and some savoury undertones. This is a white wine for wine and food lovers. Perfect for Halibut season.Tasted: 13 April 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
