Tuscany, ItalyNestled between forests and streams on the Chianti hills, Vignamaggio is an organic farm with a historic wine cellar that has been in operation since 1404. The estate sprawls over more than 400 hectares, with organic vineyards, vegetable and ornamental gardens. This sangiovese is rested for one year in 20-40 hectolitre oak. Fragrant cherries, raspberries, and subtle worked leather are woven throughout this lifted and tart Classico, with fine, long tannins pinning this into a ferrous, savoury end.
