Jumilla, Valencia and Murcia, SpainJumilla, Spain, is home to these mourvèdre grapes that come hand selected from the best plots in the region. The colour is nearly opaque, which is not odd for mourvèdre, always a big wine. It spends 3 additional months in American oak to allow for some early expansion. The nose has warm fruit flecked with spice and balsamic. The palate is an earthy, chewy affair, but the switch to 3 months of oak has allowed this wine to offer more fruit and smoother textures.
