Fox and Archer Malbec 2020
Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFox & Archer is a Naramata grower and producer, and this malbec is a fine example of what the bench can produce. It was aged for 11 months in 35% new French oak and 65% neutral French oak, allowing the grapes (Clone Cot 46 and 180) to retain their fresh floral notes. The 2019 impressed the judges at the 2023 National Wine Awards, and this is a fine follow-up.
