Falernia Syrah Reserva Titon Vineyard 2020
Valle del Elqui, ChileFrom Titon Vineyard, planted on stony soils in Elqui Valley 18 kilometres from the ocean at 350m elevation, this has a mineral undercurrent that's layered with dried blackberries, raspberries, herbs, and a litany of savoury spices. In contrast to the 2017 Gran Reserva Syrah, the fruit is much more restrained here, but with a rich, full bodied palate that is dense and mouthcoating, backed by polished, structured tannins that will allow this to continue to improve over the next 3-5 years.
