Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaWinemaker Matias Ciciani is a big fan of Plot 6 at the El Cepillo estate in the Uco Valley. The fruit is farmed biodynamically, resulting in excellent acidity and homogeneous ripeness. It is aged in stainless steel for eight months and then another eight months in bottle. The wine is very earthy, blending red and black fruits with a wealth of aromatics featuring thyme, rosemary, and balsamic. Some black fruit balances the earthy undertones of this wine, making it a well rounded bottle. It has all the hallmarks of an excellent, cool vintage.
