Escorihuela 1884 MEG Malbec - Cabernet Sauvignon 2020

Valle de Uco, Tunuyán, Central Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaA big earthy, vegetal nose spills onto the palate, revealing a mix of dried red fruits and green pepper with a floral underside. Elegant and intense, it is not cooked or jammy. In fact, it is anything but. The 60% Malbec is sourced from the El Cepillo Vineyard, Uco Valley; and 40% cabernet sauvignon from vineyards in San José, Tupungato. It is all aged in French oak casks, 80% new and 20% used. It is best served with rich meat dishes grilled over the fire.Tasted: 29 March 2024Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
