Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceLouis Jadot is a respected name in the negociant business with plenty of grape resources across Beaujolais and Bourgogne. In 2022, their Beaujolais Villages was a blend of three sites, including one of the newer crus Régnié, which may explain its medium-dark colour. The nose is slightly muted with a dry, earthy tone and sour cherry with a pinch of wild raspberries in the back end. The texture is soft, and it is ready to drink. Beaujolais Villages, Beaujolais, Burgundy, FranceFrom one of the largest negociants running Bourgogne (and, hence, Bojo), the 2022 Beaujolais Villages came from three sites in the appellation, including some grapes coming from the Cru Régnié. Vinified semi-carbonic, this lighter red is pinched in with tart cherries and raspberry and sided with sticky tannins, taking this to a snappy finish.
