Cuvaison Chardonnay 2020
Carneros, Napa Valley, California, United States2020 was a a vintage of intense concentrated fruit and relatively luscious notes, but it is California, and that style is inherent in most wines. Cuvaison operates out of the southern end of Napa Valley, in the Los Carneros region, enjoying some protection from the heat via the cool breezes that sweep off the San Pablo Bay. This chardonnay spends ten months in French oak (25% new). Look for rich baked pears and apples washed in honey, but all in balance.
