This is the siblings’ version of a letter A Douro wine, a category that is traditionally favoured for yielding the biggest, most alcoholic, powerful wines. This Touriga Nacional has the grace and power of prestige port wines, but with grace and lightness. After 1 month on skins and for a native ferment, this rested 14 months French barrel (10% new). Perfumed black plums, wild blackberry is stencilled with thorns and textured with a schistous grit. Tannins are firm, guiding this fresh, full bodied red through a crushed stone finish.
