Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaPreviously known as the Sparkling Pinot Gris, the Blanc de Gris is made using the traditional method. The name change aligned the label with the rest of the sparkling program. It spends a year on its lees and presents as a pale straw colour. The nose is a mix of ripe apples, pears and a spot of licorice with generous acidity, igniting a fresh palate that cleanses the palate amid crisp green apple and pear. The fruit is grown in Brentwood Bay on Vancouver Island, over sandy soils. The perfect aperitif or lunch bubble, this would pair well with fried foods or seafood appetizers.Tasted: 21 November 2023Tasted by: Prices:

Saanich Peninsula, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, CanadaFrom their Brentwood Bay Vineyard, this pinot grow grows on the island's sandy silts, and once in bottle for traditional method ferment, spent 1 year on lees before disgorge. Pear blossom, white peach is kissed with anise, and shaped by a brisk bright acidity, returning to a gentle pear note on the snappy finish. A promising and fresh local choice for brunch / canapés.Tasted: 25 January 2024Tasted by: Prices:
