Piedmont, ItalyItaly is the theme of next month’s wine festival, and arneis is one of its grapes that deserves more attention. The grapes are picked, pressed, and fermented before aging briefly in stainless steel for 4-5 months. There is no malolactic fermentation to keep it fresh and bright. The palate is a mix of exotic fruit, honey, and pears that slide down easily.
