Champagne Nominé Renard Brut Blanc de Noirs NV

Vallée de la Marne, Champagne, FranceBased in Vallée de la Marne's Villevenard, the Nominé family's vineyards extend over 20 hectares, spread over the slopes of Petit Morin, Sézannais, and the Marne. The diversity gives 3rd generation Simon Nominé lots to work with in his blends. This BdN is 60% pinot noir, 40% pinot meunier from Villevenard, with 20% perpetual reserve of pinot noir solely. Based on 2020, this was disgorged April 2023 with 9 g/L. Based raspberry, cherry leather, perfumed red blossoms, and toast lead a focused, red currant palate, with oxidative notes creeping in and clouding the rhubarb finish.
