Kamloops, British Columbia, CanadaThe first riesling to be released from Bartier Bros. since 2015 is a snappy, lip-smacking one, sourced from the limestone-rich soils of the Thompson River Valley, which gives this a backbone of stony minerality. This shows real verve and tension, tremendously balanced with 13 g/L residual sugar that washes away thanks to the crisp acidity, leading to a dry, refreshing finish. It's the type of wine that we would happily drink any day of the week, and it's only going to get better with time in bottle. Tuck away a six-pack if you can and revisit over the next 10 years.
