Four Mile Creek, Niagara Peninsula, Ontario, CanadaFrom Four Mile Creek's Bator Vineyard, 3-4km from Lake Ontario, this clone 375 pinot was planted in 2003 and 2014 in clay and sandy loams. After a native ferment this rested 20 months in 3rd use Burgundian barrels. Smouldering smoked cherry, black raspberry, autumnal forest floor, and suede rule this fuller, broody pinot, feeling quite the clay at present.
