Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio Valdadigetext

Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio Valdadige 2022

Valdadige, Pedemonte Valpolicella, Verona, Veneto, ItalyYes, Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio is the greatest selling grigio on the planet, and yes, they sell countless millions of bottles. It's even said they produce more pinot grigio than is possibly grown in Veneto. Hm. From 150 - 300m in the Valle dell'Adige, this was cool fermented in stainless, where it remained for a short time before bottling. Crunchy pear, Asian pear, and light citrus rule a steely and clinical palate, with a light dusting of spice on the short, snappy finish. Very basic, and you're well suited to look elsewhere.Tasted: 21 November 2023Tasted by: Prices:
