Loimer Pet Nat 2022
Kamptal, Niederösterreich, Weinland Österreich, AustriaFrom loess, and limestone gravels in Kamptal’s Langenlois and Gumpoldskirchen, and vines up to 20 years old, this biodynamic pet nat is a blend of 50% Donauriesling, 29% Muskateller, 13% Grüner Veltliner, and 8% Chardonnay. This was whole cluster native fermented in barrels and stainless before heading to bottle during ferment, where it spent 6 months on lees. This was disgorged in April 2023. Just off-dry, cloudy by intent, and 11.5%, this streams fragrant apricot, bergamot, pink grapefruit, crunchy pink lady apple, and lime pith along the tight, nimble palate, finishing with a riffing grip.
