High Note Cadenza Red Blend 2021
British Columbia, CanadaCadenza Red is an interesting blend of Similkameen merlot with Balck Sage Bench cabernet franc, sangiovese, and cabernet sauvignon. It is all aged in French oak and, in a very small way, reminds me of the Bolgheri red blends, especially when it comes to the dry finish. The attack is rich, the black fruit juicy and savoury, but the oak rules at the moment.
