This Brut Nature is 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay (vines averaging 35 years), fermented and aged in barrel, plus 40% reserve wines from the previous 2 vintages. The fruit is primarily drawn from Bouzy, with 20% of the fruit coming from GC Ambonnay nearby. This bottle was disgorged in April 2022 with 0 dosage. Rich and creamy, this fuller bodied Champagne is packed with lightly toasted meringue, golden and green apple, and crushed stones, shaped with lemon peel, and finishing with a rush of ginger spices on the end.
