South Australia, AustraliaCredited with reviving and reintroducing a dying off grape, Yalumba now has the greatest plantings of viognier in the world. Gen is their greenest wine next, inspired by future generations, and from certified organic grapes with ample biodiversity in the vineyard, and clean winery practices from start to finish, including the paper on the label of the lightweight bottle (no small feat). This is a compact and nimble iteration, with the grape's lushness pinned in smartly, with lime leaf, tangerine, honeysuckle streaking along the palate, lingering with white pepper and orange rind.
