South Australia, AustraliaThe Yalumba Gen Series is certified organic and sustainably made. The chardonnay presents in a richer, riper style, yet this wine has zero oak. The palate is a mix of peach and melon, but the creamy, leesy mid-palate supercharges this wine and gives a modern, updated feel and taste. The wine is certified by the Australian Certified Organic standards and is vegan. It's made without chemical fertilizers and pesticides in the vineyard. With very few additions, the wine goes through wild fermentation, using only the natural yeasts present in the vineyard and on grape skins.
