Tender Hope Winery Pinot Noir Thacker Drive Vineyard 2019

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSome pomegranate, brick dust, and light florals lead to expressive wild strawberry, mulberry, and raspberry with a moderately silky texture. An appealing balance of flavours here includes plum skin, strawberry, a supportive acidity, and a soft tannin counterpoint. All in all, it has a distinct flavour arrangement that finishes with lingering mulberry. Every sip seems tailgated by another. All this is arrayed on a very restrained 12% alcohol. Great job. Sourced entirely from the Thacker Drive Vineyard in West Kelowna, planted in 2000 on own roots, the wine spent ten months in French oak, 25% of which was new. Two hundred twenty cases were produced.Tasted: 14 October 2023Tasted by: Brent GushowatyPrices:
