Sandhill Blanc de Blancs Method Traditional 2020
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaSandhill Wines has released its first sparkling wine from the 2020 vintage. The Blanc de Blancs is chardonnay grown on the Naramata Bench at King Vineyard, is made using the traditional method, and is part of the Sandhill Small Lots Program at 255 cases. I like this first release from the long-time virtual wine brand that pitches classic chardonnay green apple and pear with creamy lees, reminiscent of an early morning bakery.
