Plot Wines Orange No. 4 2022

Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaPlot Wines is a newish friendly and funky wine collab based out of Kaleden. Their name refers to the partners' (Kevin Rossion and Adam Kereliuk) practice of sourcing grapes from different plots of land across the Okanagan Valley, making an ever changing roster of minimal intervention wines. Pouring a hazy glowing orange hue, Orange no. 4 blends gew, muscat ottonel and orange muscat from Kaleden, with up to 1 weeks on skins before pressing into neutral oak for 6 months. It was bottled unfined and unfiltered. A more assertive orange, with bitter apricot, peach fuzz and pit, bergamot, and salinity streaking across a tight, dry, and textural palate, lingering with crushed rocks and more salinity. A smart, if more severe, colour of orange.Tasted: 03 October 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
