Louis Jadot Bourgogne Chardonnay Couvent des Jacobins 2020
Burgundy, FranceThe Jadot Bourgogne Blanc is chardonnay purchased from quality growers in the Mâconnais, Côte Chalonnaise, and recently, Cote d’Or vineyards. Only about one-third of this white wine sees oak; the remaining is fermented and aged in stainless steel. I like the freshness here, the hint of yellow fruits, and the straw, mineral, citrus, and nut throughout. There is delicate harmony here. You can be assured this is food-friendly. Chicken dishes or creamy pasta creations all work here, as well as shellfish.
