Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA Noble Blend is one of the signature aromatic blends from the Okanagan, and the reins have now passed onto winemaker Richard Charnock, formerly of Pentâge. The 2022 vintage is a blend of gewürztraminer (50%), riesling (27%), pinot auxerrois (10%), pinot gris (8%), and pinot blanc (5%), sourced from up and down the Okanagan. This is bright and lively, perhaps less aromatic than previous vintages, with a combination of pear, grapefruit, and orange blossom. The balance is on point, drier than I remember (this is 6 g/L), with a crisp, refreshing, clean finish.
