Champagne Frédéric Savart Bulle de Rosé Vielles Vignes Extra Brut NV

Montagne de Reims, Champagne, FranceBright and chiselled, with pomegranate and fresh cranberry scented with fresh and dried florals and shaped sharply by chalk. A rinse of pink grapefruit holds this taut through the buzzy finish. Situated 10 km west of Reims, Champagne, Frédéric Savart is based in the village of Ecueil, just 10km from Reims. Continuing from his father's work with their 'laboratory of terroirs,' Frédéric Savart has made the 4-hectare property his own, and has become one of the superstars of the Grower Champagne movement. This Rosé blends 65% pinot noir, 30% chardonnay, and 5% still red wine from Écueil. It was dosed in October 2023 with 3.5 g/L. Finely boned and structural, with a raspy texture streaming wild raspberry, cherry, meringue, and chalk across a savoury, stony base. The finish lingers with salinity and cherry blossoms. Confident and memorable, this finessed rosé is drinking beauty now, and with time ahead. 9402 bottles produced.Tasted: 04 January 2025Tasted by: Prices:
