Mendoza, ArgentinaA blend of three high mountain Mendoza vineyards: Lunlunta at 920m; El Cepillo, Eugenio Bustos at 1,090m; and Gualtallary at 1,450m. The fruit is fermented with ambient yeast, followed by an extended maceration lasting 19-22 days before being barreled down for 8 months. This shows dark, brambly fruit coated with chocolate, dried violets, and spice. There's a good balance between fruit ripeness and freshness, with suave tannins and a juicy quality that carries the medium-long finish.
