Plot Cab 2020

Oliver, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe cabernet comes from a single-vineyard plot near Oliver, one of the warmest sections of the Okanagan Valley. The style is unconventional, and a fresher take on a variety long known for its rich, black, warm fruit slathered in oak. Instead, look for a brighter nose previewing a juicy, dry red with bright acidity, earthy blackcurrant streaked with dried herbs, desert sagebrush, and balsamic. Post ferment, it spends 16 months in French oak, some new, some second use and the remainder all neutral. You can drink or hold this refreshingly different take on BC cabernet sauvignon.Tasted: 05 September 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
