British Columbia, CanadaThe generous 2020 vintage is a 75/12/8/3/2 mix of merlot, cabernet franc, cabernet sauvignon, malbec, and syrah. The attack is full-bodied with plenty of florals and fruit, such as violets, black cherries, and dark plums. A touch of bitter dark chocolate balances the ripe fruit and pulls the wine through the finish line with a dusting of Okanagan sagebrush. The grapes are a mix of estate and purchased fruit from across the Okanagan Valley.
