Veneto, ItalyPredominantly garganega (70 percent), with chardonnay and sauvignon blanc, from a combination of volcanic tuff and limestone soils, this was fermented with ambient yeasts and aged for six months in stainless steel before bottling. Pale gold in colour, the nose is very sauvignon-like, with a combination of bright lemon and gooseberry accented by fresh herbs and a touch of tropical passionfruit. The depth and complexity are above the norm, with a crisp, medium-long finish.
