Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA unique blend in Canada of classic French Rhône white varieties roussanne and marsanne, this is co-fermented and lees stirred. Some of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation, adding even more fatness, while a portion (20%) is aged for 120 days in French oak, adding mid-palate weight. Typically surprisingly elegant, 2022 is a more decadent version with the marsanne adding the honey and marzipan to the yellow apples and oily citrus. There is plenty of power here, so be prepared and buckle up.
