Moon Curser Roussanne Marsanne 2022

Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaA unique blend in Canada of classic French Rhône white varieties roussanne and marsanne, this is co-fermented and lees stirred. Some of the wine goes through malolactic fermentation, adding even more fatness, while a portion (20%) is aged for 120 days in French oak, adding mid-palate weight. Typically surprisingly elegant, 2022 is a more decadent version with the marsanne adding the honey and marzipan to the yellow apples and oily citrus. There is plenty of power here, so be prepared and buckle up. Cornish game hen is a good match, as is cauliflower steak or butternut squash ravioli.Tasted: 01 August 2023Tasted by: Anthony GismondiPrices:
