Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe classic Meyer Chardonnay mixes handpicked fruit from Main Road, Anarchist Mountain, and McLean Creek Road vineyards. I love its bright entry, the fresh apple, citrus, and crunchy pear midpalate, with a creamy lees finish flecked with butter and oak. Finesse with length. This is a workhorse chardonnay for those who require a dependable white that tastes like chardonnay, tastes like chardonnay made in BC, and offers considerable value. Post ferment, the wine spent six months in a combination of stainless-steel vessels (80%) and neutral French oak barrels (20%).Tasted: 25 July 2023Tasted by: Prices:
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaWith fruit from their estate Old Main Road (Naramata), Anarchist Mountain (Osoyoos), and McLean Creek Road (OK Falls) this was partially native fermented before aging in a mix of stainless and 20% neutral French barrels for 6 months. Red and green apple, bright lemon, crunchy green pear is up against a creamy background, with a subtle softness and slight spices from time in wood. Friendly and smart, this is a welcome local chardy to enjoy this summer.Tasted: 07 August 2023Tasted by: Prices:
