La Maldición Malvar en Bota Blanco 2020
Vinos de Madrid, Castilla-La Mancha, SpainEleven months on skins in amphora gives this a pale amber colour, very much in an oxidative style with a combination of dried orange and beeswax, alongside a saline, flor character that comes through especially on the palate. Complexity is above the norm, but lacks the precision of the top vinos de pasto coming from further south in Jerez.
