T-Oinos Clos Stegasta Asyrtiko 2021

The Islands, GreeceAt 450m on the island of Tinos, this organic / biodynamically farmed assyrtiko grows in broken granitic soils, surrounded by giant granite erratics. This was native fermented and rested on lees in a mix of stainless, amphora, and barrel over 4 months. Concentrated quince, white grapefruit, lemon thistle, pear is lashed with windswept marine acidity and salinity, and buzzes with a deep granitic grip which lingers on the lengthy finish. Quite profound for 13.5%, drinking beautifully now and with time ahead.Tasted: 23 July 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
