Lock and Worth Cabernet Franc Rosé White Label 2022

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaTwo cabernet franc rosés were released from L+W's 2022 vintage (plus one merlot rosé). This is the white label one from Naramata, and there is a grey label rosé from Oliver. These cab franc vines were planted in 1995 at the OG Poplar Grove vineyard. After destemming, this had 3 hours of skin contact in the press before a stainless ferment, plus older barrel aging, with full MLF. Graceful and finessed, with fresh strawberries, Rainier cherries, mandarin streaming along a sleek palate, lined with a slick of sage scented lees, and dusted with pink pepper on the saline finish. A wee bump of RS makes this even more friendly, and welcoming for this summer.Tasted: 14 July 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
