Luján de Cuyo, Northern Region, Mendoza, ArgentinaLa Coste de Los Andes is an Argentine project from France's Chateau La Coste. The wines merge La Provence's sunny spirit with the Andes Mountains' luminous heights. This sauvignon blanc comes from alluvial soils in Alto Agrelo, Luján de Cuyo. This underwent pre-fermentation carbonic maceration before two weeks of fermentation with partial maceration. Bright and shining with lemon thistle, meadow grass, crunchy Asian pear, and tangerine, this streaks along the palate with a base of crushed stones.
