Howling Bluff Perspective Frizzante 2021

Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFormerly known as Faux Paw and dedicated to the winery’s family dog, this sparkler is made primarily with pinot gris. Despite its description as pale pink, it shows pale lemon hue without any pink tinge. Sealed with a crown cap, this wine opens with a somewhat funky and earthy nose with subtle oxidative undertones. Beneath this, there’s a layer of tangy citrus. The fizz dissipates fairly quickly upon pouring, offering a lightly effervescent texture, hence the name, frizzante. There’s a touch of sweetness in the finish, smoothing out the edges.Tasted: 27 July 2023Tasted by: HJ ChaPrices:
