Domaine Oinea Amyndeon Lune Noire Extra Brut 2019
Amyndaio, Makedonia, GreeceDomaine Oinea is a remote gem in the small mountainous town of Amyndeon, in Macedonia, protected by a mountain range full of conifers, lime trees and chestnuts. This blend of 90% xinomavro and 10% assyrtiko comes from limestone soils and biodynamically farmed, ungrafted vines in Macedonia's Amyntaio, at 650m. This trad met fizz spent 18 months on lees prior to disgorge. Bright and brisk, with perfumed tight white florals, white grapefruit, fragrant anise, and lemon, with a racy, dry palate lit with limestone.
