Domaine des Malandes Chablis 1er Cru Vau de Vey 2020

Chablis, Burgundy, FranceThe Domaine des Malandes is a family-run estate covering 29 hectares of vines in the Chablis region, with roots dating back to 1949. This 1er Cru Vau de Vey was planted in 1980 on a steep clay-limestone slope in front of the lake in Beines, on the Left Bank. This was partially fermented in barrel. There's a lovely gentle generosity to the base of this stony, mineral-driven wine, basing green apple, crisp lemon, and ample buzzy limestone through a long finish.Tasted: 26 July 2023Tasted by: Treve RingPrices:
