Covert Farms Roussanne Grand Reserve 2018
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis roussanne comes off their estate's certified organic Coyote Block, and was planted in 2007. This had a month long fermentation, followed by 9 months' rest on lees, in neutral French oak. Ripe pear, lemon verbena, apricot and ginger run the sleek palate, with a sherry-like nuttiness lingering on the finish.
