Naramata Bench, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaAon is a rich, silky, smooth mix of merlot, cabernet sauvignon, and cabernet franc grown on the Black Sage Bench and the Naramata Bench. The plummy black fruit is hidden at the moment under a blizzard of 70% new oak, but at this point, it looks like this wine can handle the wood and free up the fruit five to seven years down the road. It should turn out just fine. It’s new and has no track record, so we shall see how it develops.
