Penedès, Catalunya (Catalonia Cataluña), SpainThis organic Cava blends 60% grenache and 40% pinot noir, from Font-rubí in the Alt Penedès, at 350m. This aged 14 months on lees, and was dosed with 8 g/L. Pouring a pale pink hue, this light and lifted Cava streams ripe strawberries, perfumed roses along a pink grapefruit laced palate, with fine bubbles carrying the red fruit through the juicy finish.
