Covert Farms Grand Reserve Roussanne 2017
Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThis roussanne comes off their estate's certified organic Coyote Block, and was planted in 2007. This had a month long fermentation, followed by 10 months' rest on lees, in neutral French oak. Subtle fragrant ginger and star anise spicing runs throughout, weaving through pear, apricot, yellow apple on a sleek, tart palate, finishing with some warming spices.
