Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaThe Osoyoos' Border Vista Vineyard is a warm site with sandy soils, but you would never think so when you taste this tightly wound sauvignon blanc. Time in French and acacia barrels allows for some tempering of the acidity, with a creamy entry of gooseberry and grapefruit. A dusting of mineral salts pulls it all together in the finish. Osoyoos, Okanagan Valley, British Columbia, CanadaFrom Osoyoos' Border Vista Vineyard and its sandy soils, this sauvignon blanc spent time in both French and acacia barrels. Brisk and bright, with lemon thistle, verbena, ripe gooseberry, racy white grapefruit smartly balanced off with a gentle lees pad and ample white pepper, trailing off into mineral salts on the lingering finish.
