Marlborough, South Island, New ZealandFading strawberry notes and earthy mushroom aromas are creeping into this wine that needs drinking now. Canada seems to specialize in getting international releases late, and once in the monopoly system, the time to shelf is even further exacerbated. The attack is soft and earthy with dried herbs and wood spice with some tired notes coming through the back end.
